The UBC Thunderbirds men’s basketball team gets an early test in their 2011-12 season with a game against the Santa Clara University Broncos, alma mater of NBA MVP and Canadian standout Steve Nash. This edition of the Broncos also features a B.C. basketball star in senior Marc Trasolini. A graduate of Vancouver College, Trasolini is one of the Broncos’ top returning players and an all-WCC Team honourable mention. Come out and cheer on your T-Birds, the 2011 Canada West champions and CIS bronze medalists, before heading over the Blue & Gold party at the SUB for a memorable night during your first week.
